A New-ish Construction on a Half-Acre in Dallas Sounds So Good Right Now

Sometimes a Realtor just nails a description. And when listing agent Juliet Williams said that ambiance abounds at 4738 San Gabriel Drive in Northaven Estates, we had to nod and agree that she couldn’t have said it better. This 2016 construction sits on a handsome half acre lot and just oozes charm. This, surprisingly, is easier said than done when involving a new-ish construction in a neighborhood with decades of Dallas history.

For starters, the landscaping is done just right. Mature trees and manicured beds make the home feel like it has been there for years. On the inside, however, everything looks new. The kitchen has a large island that your whole family will find themselves spending the large majority of their time whether it be talking, cooking, eating, or doing homework. And because happy hour has never been more necessary, we found it imperative to point out the bar has lighted cabinets, a SubZero wine refrigerator, beverage drawers, and an icemaker. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?

The inviting family room has beamed ceilings and tall windows that allow guests and homeowners alike to gaze at the glistening pool. The primary bathroom stands out amongst others because of its large, custom closet, jewel box of a shower, and stand-alone tub. And every mother reading this will be happy to know that the monster of a laundry room has tons of storage, a sink, and plenty of room to sort and suffer through the endless amounts of laundry that kids can accumulate. A pretty place to do it makes it just a smidge less painful, promise!

The backyard is beautiful and is spacious enough to house one helluva party when that sort of thing is acceptable again. Whether you are swimming laps in the pool or relaxing in the spa, there is no wrong way to spend an afternoon in the water in this backyard. There is also a spacious pergola with a fireplace in addition to a covered patio off of the indoor living space. A two-sided fireplace allows those lucky enough to call dibs on the primary bedroom to enjoy the space with added privacy.

This home is conveniently located mere streets from the bustling shops at Preston and Royal and is serviced by the award-winning Harry C. Withers Elementary School. You are positioned perfectly to access both the Tollway and 75 easily depending on where you are heading. Point being—if you’re looking for a reason not to buy this one, good luck!
