Three Months Before

☐ Determine the date of the party.
☐ Meet with the planner/florist/caterer/valet/music to secure the date on their calendars.
☐ Meet with the invitation vendor to start invitation design.
☐ Create theme (if applicable).
☐ Create guest list.

One Month Before

☐ Mail invites.

Two Weeks Before

☐ Final guest count confirmed and send to the caterer.
☐ Place final food order with caterer.
☐ Stock the bar.
☐ Place rental order for glassware/china/flatware if needed.
☐ Schedule hair and makeup appointments for the event.

One Week Before

☐ Pay all final balances to the florist, rental and linen suppliers, caterer, and valet.
☐ Finalize seating.
☐ Send place cards to calligrapher.

Week Of

☐ Schedule cleaning service to clean the house.
☐ Schedule florist to install fresh flowers.

Night Before

☐ Place calligraphy name cards at place settings.
☐ Finish last-minute touches around the house.
