Texas Health Mansfield Names its CFO

She has been the CFO for a medical center in central Texas since 2015.

Stephanie Nelson has been appointed to be vice president and chief financial officer for Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, which is set to open later this year. She is currently the vice president and chief financial officer for Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Texas, and will assume her new position in April.

Nelson began her career as a controller at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Laredo, Texas in 1991 and worked in healthcare finance in California as well. She has been at CTMC since 2015.

“Stephanie’s energy, expertise in the area of finance, and passion for healthcare will be a tremendous addition to our executive team,” said Texas Health Mansfield CEO Kenneth Rose. “We are thrilled to have Stephanie join our leadership team as we work to extend our mission to a new community.”

The 95-bed acute care hospital will also have a medical office building to be used for physician offices, imaging, surgical pre-testing, lab services and outpatient physical therapy. The hospital is being partially built with modular footwalls and bathrooms, which you can learn more about here.
