56 new cases in Dallas County, while it's up to Collin County residents to decide what's "essential."

With increased testing, Dallas County has identified 56 new cases today, and experienced its seventh coronavirus-related death, according to The Dallas Morning News.  In total, over 100 cases were confirmed in North Texas today, and Dallas County now has more than 300 cases.

Collin County were the only ones missing from a 10-county call today with Baylor Scott & White CEO Jim Hinton, and a Collin County Commissioner says it should be the residents, not the government who decides what is essential. Read more from WFAA.

Governor Abbott has mandated that that inbound travelers from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New Orleans self-quarantine for two weeks in an attempt to stem the spread from those areas, reports the Texas Tribune.
