Rhonda Ross will be the Vice President of Emergency and Trauma Services for Medical City Healthcare beginning October 29, where she will oversee the Medical City network of hospitals and emergency rooms.

Ross is currently the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Medical City Denton, and has been with Medical City for seven years. Medical City Denton experienced an upgraded trauma designation and the emergency department underwent a $6 million expansion during her time at the hospital. Ross is also a clinical coordinator and instructor at The University of Texas Arlington.

“With twenty years of experience as a registered nurse working as a staff nurse, a flight nurse/paramedic, and a nurse executive leader, Ross understands the complexities and importance of every role in the emergency and trauma space,” says Zach Mueller, Chief Nursing Executive at Medical City Healthcare, via release. “Her knowledge as an emergency and trauma nurse along with her leadership experience make her ideally suited for this role.”
