Listen To This Right Now: Loners Club ‘Shooting Up The Club’

It's the dance song 2020 needed.

It’s Friday, y’all. Another Friday when we will not be hitting the dance floor and jamming in a sweaty crowd in Beauty Bar or It’ll Do Club. Another weekend of acting responsibly during a pandemic, unlike those goofy folks at Bottled Blonde. But this weekend just got a little better. We have a new banger to blast: a song that requires dancing in the living room, a song that will give you a burst of energy, a song that our weary spirits need right now.

Enter the latest single from goth alt-soul singer Loners Club called “Shooting Up The Club.” The music video came out earlier this week and it has the same chaotic, joyful energy as the song.

The tune provides the perfect formula for a dance track: We have Loners Club’s powerful vocal range, some feel-good break up lyrics, and a classic club beat.

The video switches back and forth from the singer dance-cleaning her garage in a “Goddess Gang” t-shirt to the singer and back-up dancers all dressed up and throwing down dance moves in a studio.

It’s just one of those songs you can listen to once and immediately love. Press play and take a midday dance break. You deserve it.
