CROSS TIMBERS FOOD CO-OP

The Owners

Fees
One-time $50 fee. It is fully refundable anytime you leave the co-op. 

Products Offered
Seis Flechas Farm’s brisket, Rose Creek Farms’ native pecans, traditional Greek yogurt starter, and spaghetti squash. Not everyone gets the same thing. You can order exactly what you want, in the quantities that you’d like. 

Pickup Times
Every other Saturday, afternoon.


DOUBLE OAKS CO-OP

Lewisville, Little Elm, Saginaw, Coppell, Frisco, Colleyville 

Fees
Annual $20 membership, but there’s a $10 discount if you volunteer to work at two co-ops per year. One-time cooler fee of $3 per gallon of milk.

Products Offered
Raw whole milk from Rosey Ridge Farm, K-Bar-K Ranch eggs, Holy Cow Beef, Local Oven’s gluten-free baked goods. You get to choose what quantities and products you want in your order.

Pickup Times
Every other Tuesday, time varies.

 

EDEN RESTAURANT CO-OP

Fees
No annual membership fee.

Products Offered
Baby lettuces from Charlie, Texas, and strawberries from California, Florida, and Mexico. Some local places and some not. You get to pick your quantities, and you’re paying the wholesale, market price.

Pickup Times
Saturday, Sunday, or Monday between 4 and 7 pm.

No annual membership fee. You also don’t have to order every month.

Products Offered
Products are always changing, so you can choose what you’d like to put in your order. There’s Bull Dancer Bison Ranch’s grass-fed bison, Windy Meadows’ eggs, and sockeye salmon from Fred’s Alaska Seafood. 

Pickup Times
Thursdays at 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 5:30 to 8 pm. Remote pickup times are from 6 to 8 pm.

URBAN ACRES CO-OP

Fees
$50 annual membership. Mini share is $17, half share is $30, and full share is $50.

Products Offered
Urban Acres’ elves fill boxes with organic produce from Texas family farmers, so every pickup is a surprise. You might get Berry Best Farm’s blueberries, Eden Creek Farm’s peaches and plums, Brazos Valley cheese.

Pickup Times
Every other week, usually on Fridays or Saturdays.


WHOLE LIVING CO-OP

Arlington, Euless, North Richland Hills, Midlothian, Waxahachie, Red Oak

Fees
No membership fee or minimum order. You also don’t have to commit to ordering every cycle.

Products Offered
Order Campbell’s Classic Dairy’s raw milk, eggs, ground sirloin and pork, pork sausage, and whole chicken by quantity. You can also order local honey and whole-wheat flour upon request.

Pickup Times
North Richland Hills at 3:30 to 4 pm, Euless at 4:15 to 4:30 pm, and Arlington from 5:15 to 6:30 pm.


YOUR HEALTH SOURCE

Annual $25 membership fee, plus $50 basic share per delivery. A half share is $27, fruit share is $30, and veggie share is $16.

Products Offered
Each order is between 15 to 30 pounds of food, and the co-op determines what goes in. Most of the produce comes from California, Colorado, and Washington. Deliveries vary, but there’s always a good spread of vegetables and fruits. 

Pickup Times
Every other Tuesday and Saturday, mid-morning.
