Forsythe is a self-professed chameleon. “I could wear a cocktail dress to a charity gala, and I could also saddle my own horse at my ranch and ride for days,” she says. Keep your eyes open: if you don’t know this social maven from elite philanthropy circles, you’ve likely dined at her restaurant, Sambuca, which she owns with her brother. Being a restaurateur is a demanding gig, but Forsythe makes sure she finds time to enjoy her home’s five acres. Her favorite downtime hobbies include jogging with her dogs, River and Dakota; meditating in her backyard; and doing outdoor yoga. “I like being in nature,” she says. “Like” is probably not strong enough; she wants to hike Kilimanjaro someday.
