When Taylor Luskey and Thomas Lacy set about planning their March 24, 2012, nuptials, there was no question where they would be: Rough Creek Lodge. It’s been the site of many a birthday and anniversary celebration for the two, and it perfectly fit this Texas couple’s vision of a wedding with “ranch-y elegance.” Think blooming branches and glowing candles everywhere, plus custom cowboys boots for the bride and groom by Luskey’s Western Store. It also met their request of a venue that their friends and family could enjoy for the entire weekend, and that’s what they and their nearly 300 guests did.
